Winding Down March

Well the month of March has been quite a downer in the ways of weather. The rain and cold has pretty much consumed the days but the sun and warmth of the maybe three days we did have it was AMAZING!

My moods have been shifty as well this month, I can’t say it has been one of the greatest emotionally for me but you know I still breath I still live and I am still here. That I believe is the important part really. I apologize to some (you know who you are) that I reach out to more when I am sad then when I am happy. I will try to work on that but please know that you truly mean the world to me, even when I feel as though I can’t fall any lower you pick me up in your words of comfort and make me feel whole again. For that, for you I will forever be thankful, grateful, and in your debt.

Happy things!!! I get to see my lovely Gina in like 16 days or so and I am besides my self with joy and happiness and then I found out last week that my buddy Kim is going to fly in from California to see me. . . I think we will have to check tickets to see who really flew the farthest, just kidding. I just feel honored that both of these amazing chicks have been putting up with me for as long as they have. Poor Gina has had me idolizing her shadow for, yes yes I must admit it…15 Years!! And Kim is tagging right up with her at 14 Years and Val the amazing friend that opens her fourth floor doors to us has known Gina for much longer than all that. What would I do with out my girls?

I am also very proud to announce my “little” sister is getting married!! Her fiancé popped the question this month and she said yes! They are still working on the date, place and all that fun stuff but I am very very happy for the both of them and their kidlets. Can’t wait to see Marcia on her special day.

I also must brag. I am having an AMAZING hair day; I know lame but let me have it please!! I purchased the new Herbal Essence hydrating shampoo and WOW is it wonderful. . . get you some.

Microbiology is still going well; I have not contracted or given anyone E coli to the best of my knowledge all though I have spilt much of it these last couple weeks. I am officially one class away from my degree and thanks to the motivation of Val, who graduates with her Masters!!! On 06/09 in DC I think I am going to go ahead and walk down myself on 06/07 and accept my first Associates Degree, and if the company keeps me around over the next couple weeks I will continue to work just as hard for the second degree, maybe one day I will catch up with my Dad. I know that it will take me more than a lifetime to catch up with my Mom.

Oh!! I also want to announce that my Mom in Law has opened up a new business and as they are just getting started please book mark and visit her site often www.TreasureTroveJewelry.com and tell your friends all about it!! She has recruited me to put together some bags for her and Cathy to match the website and I am very excited about that project, keep an eye out and I will post more information on that master piece as the parts begin to come together, ordered the pattern today, wish me luck.

Well Hello There March!!

It was almost 80 degrees yesterday! 80!! Today it is currently 32 degrees and tomorrow they are calling for snow. I am very temperaturely confused right now. To wear tights or not to wear tights what is a girl to do? Well as I make it through the hardest decisions of each day I wanted to send out a happy little blog update.

Things in Jen land have been going swell. We had a GREAT Snow day on Monday the 2nd and we got to make a snow man at the lovely Peacock’s home the evening of the snow and it was full of life and quite a few Winston logs. (you really don’t want to know). .. . Lance just finished up his spring break on the 8th and we went together to volunteer with a 5 on 5 game of basketball at the local YMCA with the North Carolina Special Olympics and it was really a lot of fun. After the waking up at 5am (6am non spring forward time) Lance and I made it to the Starbucks and then to the Gym in the nick of time. Lance got a fancy “Medical” shirt and his own station. . . . and he did a great job with ice packs, some strange tests that I have never heard of and other such “medical things” as I got to play cheerleader in my burnt orange volunteer shirt. It was a really great morning and I think we are both looking forward to more volunteer events in the future.

The etsy store, handmadehappiness.etsy.com has been slow but that’s okay with all that has been going on. I have finally uploaded some of my scarves that I have created and decided that I could part with, I guess I might be secretly happy if they didn’t sell but they should as I do not need so many for my personal collection (I guess). I have also relisted some wallets. . .

Lance and also had a WONDERFUL valentines, he got us the new blackberry storm phones and oh my gosh technology has come so far in my days . . I remember when cell phones only made phone calls. Now I can play create and load where ever I am with my new phone and it is really cool.

Still doing the countdown to see Gina and Val, each day is one day closer and as of today I only have to wait 35 more days!!! Super Yippy!! Lance, the Peacock’s and myself sat down on the 8th and went ahead and booked our trip to California for Memorial Day weekend and I would be really excited about that adventure but I can’t get past seeing Gina and Val right now. Too much excitement just clutters the mind.

Guess that is really about all I have going on right now. School is same ole same ole, the cars are doing great, the dogs are happy, and work is work. Thanks for checking in and as always I will try to get more updates if things get more interesting. . . . . .
