2009 I love you!

Wow. . . . I know everyone says it about this time, but where has the year gone?? I know in March I thought my Birthday would never make it but then it did.
2009 was a WONDERFULLY AWESOME YEAR.
I just wanted to sit and reflect on the coolness that I experienced over the past year.
There are so many amazing things for me this year, I saw my first presidential inauguration, went to California for the first time, went to the San Diego zoo, was able to go to Wilmington twice and experienced my first Flaming Amy’s, Ritas, burrito bowl. I had a beyond wonderful 30th birthday in Washington DC. I was accepted into Two State Universities, was lucky enough to get a lot of Kim time this year, I love that it felt like she was here for almost two months. I was able to attend my sisters’ wedding and from that I got two really great nieces. I was able to see Val graduate, two really important ladies in my life went and got themselves pregnant. Had the best ever greeting from my little Ollie. Became a daily texting buddy with my tween buddy Alex. Happily met and began working on a friendship with baby Wade. Watched a Zillion awesome movies and television shows on portable hard drives thanks to the kind hearts of my good buddies that would probably prefer not to be mentioned. Had a half snow day. Got two new smartphones. Bought a shiny new car. Simply had a wonderful year with my favorite man, and my two heathen dogs.

I made some really cool things and sold them on Etsy this year. My shop didn’t do spectacular but it did enough to keep me amused.

Oh there seemed to be so much more when I sat down to write this all out and now I have totally spaced.

I did learn that KOA kabins are AWESOME, already booked another stay in Wilmington KOA for the 4th of January and am looking forward to the rustic charms.

2010, I am ready for you!! There are going to be sooo many new and exciting changes for Lance and I that I keep wishing these days away. Lance graduates in May and we will have a major shift regardless where it may take us, Gina comes back to the EAST Coast!! I am sure I will see Kim, Val, Marcia and her new baby, the kids, the parents and everyone much more in the next year. That will be my goal at least.

Life is good. Life is great! I hope everyone enjoys their last couple of days of 2009 and that all your happy experiences completely outweigh any possible bad ones.

I wish you all the best in 2010 and appreciate your support over the year.

Much love!!

Latest Photos of one of a really fun project for a really decent friend, ha ha. . Thanks Jennifer!

Welcome December

Ahh, the busy holiday season is upon us. Today is the first day of December. What happened to 2009? I sure can’t figure it out, I look around and remember back and it was a great year, it was a sad year and it was a productive year. But there is a new ring on this “jen tree”.

Lately I have been really crafty busy and as you know I love being crafty busy. I have been working on a project for a high school friend of mine. One that turned into a wife, a mother and a teacher, I am proud of her. Below are some images of the t-shirts I have in the works for her little guy.

And I also have another diaper bag project in the works that is going to be so much fun, can’t wait to get started on that one. The fabrics are so pretty and there is so much potential!

That’s about all I really have going on right now, trying to survive the grind of the office and the freedom until school takes over on the fifth of January.

Happy Holidays to each and every one of my readers! (all three of you!)
