Project Bag for Mom :)
So it has been a very slow posting week for me and I do apologize for that. I am happy to say that I have finished a project bag that my Mom had requested and although it almost cost me a sewing machine and a television (so I almost threw the sewing machine into the television) I am happy with the outcome of this little project bag.
This brown corduroy bag is accented with a really classy blue and green paisley print, which I adore and wish now that I had more of. There is a vinyl window on the front of the bag that is hand sewn together with a brown and blue rib border. The window holds the average index card and is suitable for labeling your project bag with the latest project. Clever huh? The bag holds several file folders or just one over stuffed file folder. There are two pink drawstring “hooks” on the inside of the bag if you decide you want to hang your file folder in the bag. There is also a small zipper pouch to hold pens or your most recent starbucks card. So check it out .. . . . .hope you like it Mom.

This is the best project bag ever. The ladies in my office are very envious. If you feel like you want to make more of these, let me know. I think you might have a market for them here in Gainesville.
The bag is light weight, fits nicely under my arm and stays in place even when I am wearing a backpack. The fabric is soft and beautiful and the pocket was an unexpected bonus. It is good to know what the little loops are for. Good thinking!!
